WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Is conducted with the objective of empowering wives of martyrs to build their confidence and self esteem. The foundation has envisioned a road map for the next two and a half years, to help the women recognize their identity, give them hope and a right to dream. Further we help them understand their finances, legal rights and help them manage their entitlements efficiently. In addition, VRFA plays a very important role in enhancing their physical and emotional health helping them to forge strong interpersonal relationships. The VRFA team has been trained to conduct workshops for the ladies. We also tie up with other organizations such as Delta.L Coaching & OD Consulting and SAMVADA to conduct Empowerment programs for these women. The entire program is divided into 4 modules spread over a period of 2 years and concludes with a Valedictory function. Women Empowered till date - 40.

Empowering veer naris

Giving women the opportunities they need to build better futures for themselves and their families require many people coming together and offering their skills, expertise, and services. We have seen a tremendous response from organizations that share similar goals. There is always more work to be done, more families to reach out to, and as we think of expanding our sphere of influence, we are looking to partner with more organizations and individuals who are committed to making a difference.

Our empowerment programs have changed lives. Here’s what some of them have to say about it:

“We were given Empowerment training in management of Personal Finances, Computer Literacy and English speaking over the last 6 years by way of regular workshops. Both my children and me immensely benefited from the training imparted to us. Earlier we were afraid to go out of our home but now we feel confident of travelling even to distant places and to visit Government offices to get our work done.”
